The πΌ Plant-Adjacent Creatives series workshops are designed to support folks in expanding and/or deepening their relationship with nature through eclectic creative processes: think floral designers, floral dye artisans, comedians, herbal astrologers, dreamwork, herbal artists, energy workers, herbal astrologers, etc.
About the Workshop:
Emotional well-being and the way in which we interface with the world is often the most overlooked component in any healing program. In many instances, our emotional blocks and stressors are what drive chronic imbalance in the body. In a very real way, stress (as defined as anything that overwhelms our ability to cope) depletes our bodies of essential nutrients, disrupts the normal functioning of cellular communication and inhibits proper movement through our meridian system.
Kinesiology is a form of manual bio-feedback that can utilise muscle resistance testing to identify emotional blocks to healing.
This simple neuro-reaction test can help to uncover if any of the following are promoting imbalance within:
Stress, such as lack of personal time, too much work, excessive worry, too little rest, and financial strain
Unhealthy mental states, such as addictions or destructive mental patterns
Ambient distractions, such as pervasive noises, smells, lights, and images
Overstimulation from advertisements, radio, computers, television, smartphones, and pagers
Lack of spiritual connection, a loss of meaning and purpose
Isolation, the lack of social support and community
Nature deprivation, being disconnected from natural environments
Negative emotions and persistent self-defeating thoughts, such as anger, fear, guilt, and hopelessness
Materials Needed:
A neutral object, non-toxic and without emotional or sentimental significance. A glass or mug works just fine.
