🪴The Dirt Studio

An online studio for mindful meal planning, plant learning, and body-centered practice.

Member Hub

Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here!

This space is for wellness-curious, plant-loving humans who want nourishment to feel doable, personal, and (dare I say) fun.

I like to think of The Dirt Studio like a yoga or movement studio — not a library of content. It’s a place you arrive to, participate in, and leave feeling differently than when you came.

Everything you need for the month lives here: live class links, archived resources, and your links to the recipe repository.

Class Descriptions:

Meditation + Meal Mapping (60 min)

Mindful, grounded meal planning

We’ll start with a short guided meditation to settle your body and mind, then move into a simple reflection to check in with nourishment needs, wants, schedule, and capacity. The second half of class is a relaxed co-working session where you’ll map out meals that feel supportive and realistic for this version of you.

Bring: notebook + pen

Sip, Settle, and Sound Bath (60 min)

Tea-based sensory meditation

We drink tea, get comfy, and move through a guided five-senses practice with soft soundscapes to slow down and reconnect with our bodies. No effort required — just sip, settle, and soften.

Bring: any tea (or just hot water)

Indicators: Body Reading Practice (60 min)

Pulse, tongue, and other body-based assessments

Guided observation of subtle shifts in the body through pulse and tongue reading. Some sessions also explore digestion, cravings, temperature, sleep patterns, or other frameworks such as constitutional charts or elemental systems.

Petal Practice Circle (60 min)

Community herbalism for sensory learning

Together we taste, smell, and sit with one featured plant to explore its qualities through direct experience. You’ll notice texture, temperature, after-feel, and mood shifts, then reflect with short prompts and optional sharing. Sometimes we’ll discuss simple uses or history, but the focus is on relationship over memorization.

Bring: a tea (or tincture) made from that month’s plant:

January: Ginger • February: Tulsi • March: Peppermint • April: Dandelion
May: Rose • June: Lemon Balm • July: Hibiscus • August: Chamomile
September: Fennel • October: Nettle
